ABOUT SANDY BLACK
Why Interior Design as a career choice? I have always had a passion for mentorship, to share my knowledge and experiences in order to help others. Whether I was facilitating in the children’s elementary school art program, to holding volunteer leadership roles within the community, or providing beautiful artistic finishes for clients, those roads have lead me to the Interior Design industry where I am a certified interior designer and an instructor at the American Institute of Interior Design. Being an interior design feeds that passion….mentorship. It is my fondest desire to help clients realize their dream living or working environments.
My approach to design is deeply influenced by the connections I make with each client. I strive to understand the unique vision of each and every client, while carefully listening to their exact desires and working very closely with them throughout the entire process. I believe I understand my clients and am able to express their personalities through the design of their homes, down to the most precise details. I will spend a substantial amount of time with each client during the design process—and even upon completion of the project—just to be certain that everything fits with the client and their unique lifestyle.
Sandy Black graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and is a graduate of The American Institute of Interior Design. She is a Certified Interior Designer, and an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers and has 18 years experience in the Interior Design industry. She lives in Scottsdale.
